About the Role
Preston College is seeking a skilled professional to join our Construction and the Built Environment department as a Lecturer in Plumbing and Gas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for imparting your extensive knowledge and hands-on expertise to aspiring plumbing and gas professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver both practical and theoretical sessions to support learners in achieving their qualifications.
- Adapt and differentiate teaching to ensure that everyone succeeds and positively progresses.
- Guide learners through both theoretical concepts and practical applications, preparing them for success in the dynamic and ever-evolving field of plumbing and gas engineering.
Requirements
- A passion for teaching and a deep understanding of industry best practices.
- A commitment to providing top-notch education in plumbing and gas installation.
- Qualifications to at least Level 3 and experience of teaching or training in a further education setting.
- A teaching qualification is desirable, but if you don't have one and are willing to work towards achieving one, we will support you to do so.
