About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Construction and Built Environment department as a Lecturer in Plumbing and Gas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and training to our students, ensuring they achieve their qualifications and develop the skills and knowledge required for a successful career in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver both practical and theoretical sessions to support students in achieving their qualifications
  • Adapt and differentiate teaching to ensure all students succeed and positively progress
  • Develop and maintain industry connections to provide students with opportunities for work experience and employment
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
  • Participate in staff development and training to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with industry developments
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with a passion for teaching, a deep understanding of industry best practices, and a commitment to providing top-notch education in plumbing and gas installation. The ideal candidate will have a relevant occupational area and be qualified to at least Level 3. Experience of teaching or training in a further education setting would be advantageous.
