SEND Learning Support Assistant

Creative and artistic learning support assistants are needed in a SEND school to support children with various special needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEND or children, a passion for education, and the ability to use their creative nature to engage students and improve confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising pupils with SEND, ensuring their safety and ability to access learning activities and understand the information presented.
Aiding the execution of education plans suitable to each pupil's learning objectives.
Building trusting relationships with all pupils and communicating according to their understanding.
Promoting class interaction and ensuring pupils engage throughout the lessons.
Assisting pupils with practical activities using a variety of teaching aids.
Loking after children's physical, social, and emotional welfare.
Requirements
- Experience working with SEND or children.
- A passion for education and creating an environment in which students can improve their studies.
- The ability to use your creative nature to engage students, improve confidence, and positively influence a fun and supportive learning process.
