SEN Learning Support Assistant

At GSL Education, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Learning Support Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children with diverse learning needs.
As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their learning and development, working closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored learning experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualized support to students with SEN, helping them achieve their academic goals.
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers.
- Supporting classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
We are looking for a caring and patient individual with a strong understanding of various SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Previous experience as an SEN Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong commitment to supporting children with different learning needs. They will also be required to undergo safeguarding training and meet the necessary background checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
