Are you a seasoned finance professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Financial Reporting to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our Group Reporting team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Group's financial reporting and consolidating its complex, multi-currency operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead a team of accountants in Group Reporting, overseeing the consolidation process and monthly management reporting for the Group. They will manage the planning and execution of interim and year-end external reporting and audits, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and disclosure requirements. Additionally, they will handle technical aspects of the Group's financial statements, provide expertise on complex accounting issues, and contribute to Board and Audit Committee papers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of approximately four qualified accountants in Group Reporting
  • Oversee the multi-currency IFRS consolidation process and monthly management reporting for the Group
  • Manage the planning and execution of interim and year-end external reporting and audits
  • Handle all technical aspects of the Group's financial statements
  • Contribute to the preparation of Board and Audit Committee papers

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with extensive post-qualification experience, ideally in a listed Group function
  • Proven experience in multi-currency Group consolidation and listed company reporting
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Advanced proficiency in finance systems and Excel
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, UK statutory accounts, and relevant disclosure requirements

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £130,000 - £150,000 + up to 40% bonus, plus incredible benefits. The company offers hybrid working arrangements, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
