Maintenance Operations Coordinator

This is a key role within our engineering and manufacturing department, responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure smooth industrial operations.

Description of Responsibilities

  1. Plan and schedule preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
  2. Collaborate with the engineering team to execute tasks efficiently
  3. Analyse equipment performance and suggest improvements
  4. Develop key performance indicators for the maintenance function
  5. Assist in budgeting for the department
  6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
  8. Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers

Job Requirements

  1. Relevant qualifications in Engineering or a related field
  2. Experience with CMMS, SAP, or Shire software
  3. Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance best practices
  4. Strong planning and organisational skills
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
  7. A keen eye for detail and proactive problem-solving approach
