We are seeking an experienced Palliative Care Specialist Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide specialist advice and education to patients, relatives, carers, and other healthcare professionals requiring palliative care within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a nurse-led caseload according to agreed protocols, utilizing advanced skills in assessing and treating various conditions, including non-malignant and malignant life-limiting conditions.
- Work collaboratively with clinical colleagues in oncology, palliative care, ED, acute medicine, radiology, and pathology to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop clinical guidelines, participate in audits, and design education programs to enhance patient outcomes.
- Advanced practice experience in palliative care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
