Job Title: Data Centre and Hybrid Cloud Leader

Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 per annum

Company Overview:

A leading recruitment platform is seeking a Data Centre and Hybrid Cloud Leader to join their team in Canary Wharf. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our cloud infrastructure strategy.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Data Centre and Hybrid Cloud Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in architecture, cloud platforms, data centre, and hosting technologies. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the development of our cloud infrastructure strategy.
  2. Designing and architecting solutions based on technical and business requirements.
  3. Developing and documenting architecture blueprints and best practices.
  4. Collaborating with the Engineering and Operations teams to ensure smooth implementation of cloud-based solutions.
  5. Contributing to the development & management of Infrastructure Strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

  1. Strong experience in Architecture, Cloud platforms, Data Centre, and hosting technologies.
  2. Ability to communicate solutions to other stakeholders.
  3. Broad knowledge of Networks & Security.
  4. Good knowledge of Risk management.
  5. Experience in IaC (nice to have).
  6. Knowledge of Compute virtualization and hypervisors.
  7. Knowledge of Operating systems (Windows and Linux) & Database Technologies.
  8. Knowledge of networking design and principles in both public cloud and traditional data center.
  9. Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures.
  10. Ability to assess and recommend third-party tools and services to complement AWS offerings.
  11. Knowledge of 3rd party storage and Firewall desired.
  12. Stakeholder management.
  13. Knowledge of cloud security.
Benefits:

This is a permanent role based in Canary Wharf, offering a competitive salary of £90,000 - £120,000 per annum and excellent benefits package.
