Job Description:About the Role:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Infrastructure Manager (Network and Security) to join our dynamic team. As part of our infrastructure management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of our clients' IT infrastructure.

  • Design and Implement Network Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure and security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Data Centre Operations: Manage and optimize operations across our data centres in Slough and Maidenhead, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Cloud Solutions: Lead migration projects to cloud platforms, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to client services.
  • Data Protection and Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement robust data protection and disaster recovery plans to safeguard client data.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of network and security engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors such as Sophos and Barracuda to enhance security posture and ensure effective solutions are in place.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in network security and data protection.
  • Incident Management: Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
