Job Description

Anderson Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our client, a well-established and successful local business based in Gloucestershire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the finance department, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rentals Management: Set up new rentals, end rentals, conduct credit checks, chase debt, reconcile accounts, post and arrange payments, and present current debt to senior management.
  • Sales Ledger: Provide ad hoc cover for the credit controller, checking delivery manifests, and ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Purchase Ledger: Input purchase invoices, match goods to invoices, verify prices, resolve queries, and handle product returns and claims.
  • Tills Cover: Reconcile showroom tills to database totals to ensure accurate sales recording.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with various projects as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous accounts experience, be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and possess excellent communication skills. Our client offers a competitive salary of £25,000 depending on experience and the opportunity for hybrid working after a successful probation period.
