About the Role:

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer to join their team on a term-time, full-time basis. This role is based at Windsor and offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the college community in safeguarding cases, working with external agencies, and attending meetings on behalf of the college.
  • Collaborate with safeguarding leaders to promote student wellbeing and a positive mindset.
  • Contribute to the administration of behaviour management procedures and assist in implementing an effective wellbeing strategy for staff and students.
  • Manage a caseload of students with a variety of support requirements and take on the role of designated safeguarding officer on a rota basis.
  • Represent the college at external multiagency meetings and provide front-line wellbeing support for students.
  • Collect data and report on safeguarding, wellbeing, and student participation, maintaining clear communication and consistency of approach with other safeguarding teams.

What You'll Need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, staff, and external agencies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures, with a commitment to upholding the college's safeguarding and wellbeing values.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
