About the Role

The Internal Communications, Culture and Engagement Manager is a pivotal position that ensures colleagues are informed and engaged with the company's strategy and vision. This role is crucial in driving employee advocacy and promoting a positive company culture.

This position will work closely with the CEO, CPO, Director of Corporate Affairs, and the Executive Committee to develop and implement internal communications strategies that align with the company's goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing campaigns that promote employee engagement, increase understanding of the company's strategy, and drive cultural transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure successful 'all company' communication, including organizational announcements and company updates.
  • Provide comms business partner style service to the TalkTalk ExCo, to drive colleague engagement and increased understanding of strategy.
  • Work closely with the Corporate Affairs team to ensure internal and external alignment.
  • Manage 1 FTE and provide guidance and support to the employee networks.
  • Undertake other group communications projects as and when required.
Requirements
  • Experienced in driving results in employee engagement, using a variety of tools and data.
  • Proven expert in internal communications, working in a fast-paced environment and used to managing change and the ability to prioritize time-sensitive projects.
  • Strong communicator and strategist.
  • Self-reliant, takes initiative and is proactive.
  • Strong stakeholder management is essential.
