Job Summary

OVO Group is seeking a skilled Credit Risk Analyst to join our team. As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for the effective management of key debt prevention strategies, processes, analytics, and MI which underpin the Collections operation, allowing it to function, manage risk, and drive reductions to debt balances while increasing revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Insight and Recommendations: Drive the department strategy to optimize revenue performance by providing insightful recommendations.
  • Assess Trends and Performance: Analyze trends and performance against targets and key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and Implement Reports: Create user-friendly reports that support performance analysis and decision-making, ensuring a high standard of accuracy.
  • Commercial Modelling: Develop cost/benefit analysis of proposed actions and outcomes to inform business decisions.
  • Reduce Manual Effort: Automate processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Third-Parties: Work with third-parties to improve decision strategies, tracing solutions, and customer risk profiling.

Requirements

  • Experience in Data or Analytical Role: Proven experience in a similar data or analytical role, with a strong understanding of credit risk and collections.
  • Core Analysis Technologies: Excellent skills in SQL, Big Query, Excel, and Sheets, with experience in cloud data services such as Google Cloud Platform.
  • Data Visualization: Ability to build and present meaningful data visualizations, with experience in dashboarding platforms such as Tableau.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Strong understanding of statistical concepts, including sampling, significance, hypothesis testing, and basic probability theory.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
