Job Description: We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in Cwmbran, Monmouthshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one care and support to our client, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About the Client: Our client is a young adult who has sustained a spinal cord injury and requires ongoing support to maintain their independence. They are looking for someone who can provide 24/7 care and support to enable them to live safely and comfortably in their own home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in our client's condition

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours
