About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a Specialist Elderly Care Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dietetic care to elderly patients in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of elderly patients in care homes and their own homes across Brent, providing personalized dietetic advice and support.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for care home staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in nutrition and dietetics.
  • Conduct outpatient clinics and provide evidence-based dietetic care to patients with nutrition-related conditions.
  • Collaborate with our experienced and supportive team of community dietitians to achieve clinical excellence and personal development.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
  • Health and Care Professions Council registration.
  • Significant post-registration clinical dietetic experience in a range of clinical areas, including experience of managing patients with nutrition-related conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
