About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our innovative team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a Specialist Elderly Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dietetic care to patients in care homes and their own homes across Brent.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload, providing dietetic advice to patients with nutrition-related conditions such as malnutrition, diabetes, obesity, and coeliac disease.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for care home staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in nutrition support.
  • Conduct outpatient clinics and provide evidence-based personalized dietetic care to patients.
  • Collaborate with the team to participate in audit and service development initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of care.

Requirements

  • Post-registration clinical dietetic experience in a range of clinical areas.
  • Experience of managing patients with nutrition-related conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills to deliver dietetic advice to patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Advanced skills in assessment and treatment of clients with nutrition-related diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
