We are seeking an experienced Lead Makeup Artist to join our team at Frasers Group, based in our Flannels Flagship store in Sheffield. As a key member of our luxury cosmetics brand, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert makeup applications to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality makeup applications using Pat McGrath Lab cosmetics products
  • Assist clients with product knowledge, makeup applications, and purchases
  • Maintain specialized product knowledge and reinforce Pat McGrath application techniques with the team
  • Accountable for achieving sales goals and maintaining consistent and regular appointment bookings
  • Analyze sales and create strategies with management to consistently meet and exceed goals
  • Share knowledge to provide customers with exceptional and personalized service
  • Work as part of a team focused on creating a memorable customer experience
  • Manage customer feedback and use it constructively to continually raise the bar for service, sales, and retail standards
  • Adapt to the challenges that vary from day to day and be flexible in a fast-paced work environment
  • Use natural curiosity to stay ahead of the latest trends and expand knowledge of products and competitors
  • Own the planning and delivery of in-store events
  • Be confident to lead masterclasses and trainings both one-to-one and to a group
  • Replenish stock as needed and maintain a clean and attractive counter
  • Ability to build a clientele and a loyal repeat customer base
  • Understand and follow health, safety, and security procedures

Requirements

  • Experienced Lead Makeup Artist with a minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Ability to perform high-quality makeup applications that align with the brand service menu
  • Confidently connects artistry and education to sales
  • Social/digital portfolio of work with significant following preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current beauty trends and latest products
  • Great communicator with the ability to positively engage with all customers
  • Well-informed with excellent product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity
  • Sales and service expert with the ability to deliver exceptional service
  • Flexible and responsive to business needs
  • Confident coach and self-driven to upskill and learn
  • Able to work retail hours on a 20h part-time basis, including days, nights, weekends, and special events
