Career Pathways Framework Partner Role

The Organisation Design and Change Team at Ulster University is seeking a skilled professional to lead the design and implementation of a career pathways framework. This framework will enable non-academic staff to understand the opportunities available to them within the University and identify their potential development steps in a coordinated way.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and delivering a career pathways framework that meets the needs of the University and its staff;
  • Providing specialist career pathways and development expertise;
  • Specifying, building, and implementing career pathways;
  • Working with key stakeholders to agree the scope of the career pathways work;
  • Ensuring career pathways complements performance and career development work;
  • Identifying and collecting existing career pathways data;
  • Leading on the development of future career pathways frameworks;
  • Designing and overseeing appropriate governance mechanisms;
  • Identifying and adopting leading practice and innovation in the area of career pathways;
  • Making a significant contribution to the growth of the Organisation Design and Change function;
  • Contributing to the delivery of the wider People and Culture operational plan.
