Autism Specialist Primary School Teacher

We are seeking an Autism Specialist Primary School Teacher to join our team at REESON Education in Central London. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Autism, specifically in the Early Years class.
As an Autism Specialist Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that cater to the needs of individual students, promoting their academic and personal growth. Your creativity, adaptability, and ability to work as part of a team will be essential in providing the highest level of education and care to your pupils.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of SEN teaching methods and be able to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities. Experience in working with non-verbal students is highly desirable, although the school provides an intensive induction program for new staff.
School Overview:
The school caters for students aged 4-11 years with Autism and SLD. The school benefits from Sensory Rooms and Therapy Pool as well as vast outdoor space which is excellent for central London. Classes are small with only up to 6 pupils so Teachers are able to deliver specific and tailored learning to students.
School Location:
The school is based in zone 1, central London with excellent transport links to all parts of London.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
- Experience working with children with Autism, preferably in the Early Years class
- Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
