Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant Primary School Wandsworth
A primary school in Wandsworth is looking for an Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant to provide onetoone support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Position : Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant
Type : Fulltime Temporary
Location : Wandsworth

School Information :
This inclusive school has a dedicated SEN team and provides specialist support for students with autism. The successful candidate will be joining a welcoming and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide tailored onetoone support for a pupil with autism.
  • Assist the class teacher in managing the learning environment.
  • Help the student develop social and communication skills.
  • Monitor and report on progress to the SENCo.

Experience and Qualifications :

  • Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • A clear DBS check.
