We are seeking an experienced and innovative Class Teacher to lead our Autism Resourced Base at Ark Brunel Primary Academy. This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking school that values diversity and inclusion.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include teaching, learning, and assessment of students using autism and communication curriculums. You will work closely with the Head of Provision to achieve best practice, leading and motivating a team of support staff.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Head of Provision in achieving best practice.
  • Teaching, learning, and assessment of students using autism and communication curriculums.
  • Leading and motivating a team of support staff.
  • Encouraging student curiosity, interest, and enjoyment for education.
  • Maintaining high expectations for all students.
  • Effective communication with parents and carers.
  • Liaising with specialist staff and external professionals.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including reduced gym membership and retail discounts.
