As a Behaviour Support Worker with Prospero Teaching, you will be working in an excellent secondary school near Lancaster to support pupils who have been taken out of mainstream lessons due to challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate is calm and resilient, able to work with students in small groups or on a 1-2-1 basis.

Job Description
  • Location: Lancaster area
  • Position: Behaviour Support Worker
  • Hours: 8:30am-4pm (term time only)
  • Pay: Minimum £100 per day (dependent on experience)

You don't need to have school-based experience; sports graduates, coaches, youth workers, and care workers are welcome to apply. We are looking for passionate individuals who can support children with challenging behaviour that may have experienced early life trauma.

Requirements
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
