Sales Account Manager

We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. With a strong focus on customer relationship management and a commercial mindset, you will be able to identify and capitalize on new revenue streams while delivering exceptional customer service.
Around 70% of your time will be spent on customer relationship management, which includes:
- Building strong relationships with named clients/customers and expanding and deepening those relationships.
- Understanding customer goals and objectives and identifying opportunities for revenue growth that meet their needs.
- Providing exceptional customer service and acting as a trusted advisor, identifying potential opportunities, including upselling.
Around 20% of your time will be dedicated to business development, which includes:
- Identifying and targeting potential clients/customers while following the company's business goals, KPIs, and strategy for growth.
- Completing customer tenders when needed, including pricing and financials required.
You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our Marketing and Procurement teams, supporting and leveraging marketing campaigns, promotions, and supplier demonstrations relating to customer engagement with the company.
Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 per annum (DOE). The salary range is negotiable based on experience.
