We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist Construction Sales Recruitment Consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling a range of roofing products to national and independent builders merchants, roofing merchants, and roofing product suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field sales position selling roofing products to key accounts
- Majority of time spent selling to national and independent builders merchants, roofing merchants, and roofing product suppliers
- Smaller portion of time spent selling to roofing contractors
- Targeted sales of circa £8m
- Inheriting a portfolio of circa 100 accounts
Requirements:
- Must have worked for or sold to builders merchants
- Must have sold building products or materials
- Ideal candidate will have experience selling roofing products, although not essential
- Technically capable and IT literate
- Driven, hungry, and able to work autonomously and as part of a team
