About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Life Science Solutions team as a Technical Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities with both new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with designated Account Managers to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive long-term business growth
  • Support the sales cycle from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring a smooth and successful outcome
  • Periodically visit and complete on-site sales activities for customer accounts
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including quote preparation, tender responses, and customer database management
  • Handle complex and technical discussions with customers
  • Develop and maintain a sales funnel, identifying business opportunities through creative and proactive approaches
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive sales growth and success

Requirements

  • University degree in a science field, such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or biotechnology
  • Relevant experience in analytical techniques, such as chromatography or spectroscopy, in a similar position or as an end user
  • Commercial or retail experience is an advantage
  • Strong desire to learn and expand technical and soft skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and logical approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize workload efficiently
  • Clean full driver's license
