Audit Management Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Howett Thorpe. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team, develop your skills, and progress your career in auditing.

About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of audit clients, including overseeing the preparation of financial statements under FRS102 and IFRS.
  • Attend client meetings, complete audits with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines.
  • Develop upcoming audit talent, manage WIP, billing, and debt management for the portfolio.
  • Foster new relationships and maintain key contacts through business development efforts.

As an ideal candidate, you will be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, with a minimum of five years' experience in an accountancy practice. You should also have sound technical knowledge and practical experience with FRS102 and UK GAAP.

Salary and Benefits:
  • The salary for this role is £100,000 - £130,000 per annum, depending on experience.
