About the Role:

We are seeking an Electrical Apprenticeships Lecturer to join The Bedford College Group at our Corby Campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning materials for Electrical Apprenticeships courses.
  • Assess and verify student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.
  • Participate in marketing and promotion activities to support Electrical Apprenticeships programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ qualification in Electrical Installation (2357/5357 or equivalent).
  • Completed AM2/AM2S or equivalent.
  • Certificate in Education or equivalent, or Assessor Award.
  • GCSE Maths and English grade A-C or equivalent.
  • Willingness to achieve IQA award or similar IQA qualification.
  • Recent experience of working in the UK Electrotechnical industry or teaching and assessing on a range of programs and levels.
  • Knowledge of current developments in UK Building Services.
  • Evidence of understanding how to promote equality and diversity within the job role.
  • Ability to make a positive contribution to the team, valuing and respecting others' expertise and contribution.
