Job Title: Experienced Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at a well-established FMCG company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical components, as well as overseeing maintenance activities to ensure maximum site efficiency and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain electrical components such as panels, sensors, relays, safety circuits, and motors
  • React to breakdowns and perform planned preventative maintenance
  • Oversee maintenance activities to ensure planned maintenance is applied to all equipment
  • Maintain mechanical components such as pneumatics, bearings, belts, pulleys, and gearboxes
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding, including PLC fault-finding skills and diagnosis & repair of industrial machinery
  • Replace and repair electrical components

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ level 3, apprenticeship, city, and guilds
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Good understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Hands-on, team player
