Role Overview:
We are in search of an Electrical Apprenticeships Educator to enhance the educational experience at The Bedford College Group.
As an Electrical Apprenticeships Educator, your contributions will be vital to our students' achievements through:
- Designing, delivering, evaluating, and verifying specialized subjects across various courses and levels.
- Providing support and guidance to students to help them succeed and reach their full potential.
- Overseeing students' educational journeys and ensuring a high-quality learning environment.
- Actively participating in curriculum innovation and development within the Centre.
- Engaging in promotional activities to support a variety of programs and learning opportunities.
Candidate Profile:
Ideal applicants will possess:
- A Level 3 NVQ qualification in Electrical Installation (2357/5357 or equivalent)
- Completion of AM2/AM2S or an equivalent qualification
- Either a Certificate in Education or an equivalent qualification, or an Assessor Award
- GCSE Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent
- A commitment to obtaining an IQA award or a similar qualification
- Recent experience in the UK Electrotechnical industry or in teaching and assessing across various programs and levels.
- Knowledge of current trends in UK Building Services
- Demonstrated understanding of promoting equality and diversity in the workplace
- A collaborative spirit, valuing and respecting the expertise and contributions of others
- A willingness to work at various locations where The Bedford College Group operates
