Location: Helensburgh, Glasgow

Hourly Rate: £12.49 - £13.33

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Practitioner to join our supported living service in Helensburgh. As an Autism Practitioner, you will work alongside the Senior Autism Practitioner and team members to develop personalized support plans that cater to the unique needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans that promote independence and active citizenship.
  • Build positive relationships with clients and their families, working in partnership to ensure their life goals and aspirations are at the forefront of their support.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Provide support with daily living tasks, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Participate in shift work, including weekends and evenings, to ensure 24/7 support.

Requirements:

  • Experience in social care or a related field (desirable but not essential).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality support that promotes independence and autonomy.
