Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Children's Deputy Home Manager, working within our new Emotional Wellbeing Assessment Home in Hinckley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people aged 8-18, who have experienced trauma and are vulnerable to sexual exploitation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of Residential Support Workers and Seniors to provide exceptional care and support to children and young people.
• Work closely with the Registered Children's Home Manager to ensure the home meets the highest standards of care and quality.
• Develop and implement individual care plans that meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
• Ensure the home is a safe and welcoming environment, promoting the emotional wellbeing and resilience of our service users.
• Collaborate with external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and young people.
Requirements:
• A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year's experience in a supervisory or shift leader role in a children's residential setting.
• Knowledge and experience of working with OFSTED regulations and quality standards of children's homes.
• Ability to work towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's services.
