About the Role: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Carrington West, you will be responsible for creating a safe working environment and managing subcontract works packages. Your expertise will include producing subcontract documentation, negotiating terms and conditions, prices, and programs.

The Responsibilities:

  • Creating a safe working environment is a priority.
  • Producing subcontract documentation, negotiating terms and conditions, prices, and programs.
  • Managing subcontract works packages, including interim assessments and change management.
  • Issuing commercial notices to both the Client and Subcontractors as required by the contract.
  • Managing change in accordance with the contract, including Compensation Event Quotations.
  • Submitting and agreeing monthly applications to the Client.
  • Liaising with operational and engineering staff to maintain site records.
  • Producing detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR).
  • Maintaining a detailed Cost Plan and forecasting expenditure.
  • Attending progress and risk reduction meetings with clients and subcontractors.
  • Maximizing value and profit by applying the principles of 'Doing the right thing.'
  • Assisting estimating and bid teams with contractual expertise.
  • Playing a key role in the commercial team on-site.

About You:

  • A good understanding of standard forms of contract.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Salary Information: The estimated salary range for this position is £65,000-£70,000 per annum. Based on location and industry standards, this is a competitive salary that reflects the importance of the role.
