**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead our Flight Test Instrumentation team. As a key member of our Software Group, you will be responsible for managing the team's workload and priorities, as well as developing a strategy for FTI software toolset capability.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Managing the team's workload and priorities
  • Developing a strategy for FTI software toolset capability
  • Managing the support, maintenance and upgrade of FTI software toolsets
  • Being the point of contact for FTI software toolsets with internal and external stakeholders
  • Championing software development best practice and adherence to departmental processes

**Requirements**

  • Hold a degree in an Engineering or STEM subject (or equivalent relevant experience)
  • Experience of leading / managing a team, and the ability to foster a collaborative team culture
  • Ability to problem solve within complex systems
  • A Systems Thinker who actively seeks continuous improvement opportunities
  • Experience of using tools to process and manipulate large data sets
  • Experience of software programming and databases, e.g. C++, Java, Oracle, SQL, etc.
