About This Opportunity:

We are looking for an exceptional Lead Advocate for Vulnerable Adults to join our team at Lucas and Co Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our advocacy team, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals who face significant health and social care issues.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality, outcome-focused advocacy services to vulnerable adults, working closely with clients to identify their needs and goals.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored plans to address the unique challenges faced by each client.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with clients, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, knowledge, and expertise, enhancing the overall quality of our advocacy services.
  5. Participate in regular supervision sessions with your line manager to discuss progress, challenges, and areas for growth.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in advocacy, information, and advice, preferably in health, social care, or voluntary settings.
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults, including those with disabilities, impairments, and limited English proficiency.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of advocacy principles, laws, and regulations, as well as relevant industry standards and best practices.
