Biomethane and Gas Entry Connections Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join SGN as a Biomethane and Gas Entry Connections Manager, where you will play a key role in delivering gas entry connections and ensuring compliance with safety, legislation, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team to ensure biomethane and gas entry connections are processed and delivered to customer timescales, while ensuring all applicable safety, legislation, and SG policies are adhered to.
- Ensure SGN delivers on government net-zero targets and SGN's ambition to green the gas in our networks.
- Project manage and deliver gas entry connections, which are primarily concentrated in the biomethane sector, from initial customer contact through to final gas to grid.
- Liaise with project operators post commissioning to ensure full compliance with SGN's range of policies and procedures.
- Effective people manager with a focus on delivering projects to required timescales.
- Positive and flexible approach to work, with good organisational, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator, both in written form and orally at all levels.
- Good level of technical knowledge on the operation of the gas network, with a degree qualification in an appropriate discipline preferred.
- Knowledge/experience of Industry Codes, Regulations, and Legislation preferred.
- High level of computer literacy and project management associated skills.
- Full UK driving licence required for travel.
