Biomethane and Gas Entry Connections Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage biomethane and gas entry connections, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety, legislation, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team to process and deliver biomethane and gas entry connections within customer timescales.
- Ensure SGN meets government net-zero targets and green gas ambitions.
- Project manage and deliver gas entry connections from initial customer contact to final gas to grid.
- Liaise with project operators post-commissioning to ensure compliance with SGN policies and procedures.
- Effective people management with a focus on delivering projects to required timescales.
- Positive and flexible approach to work, with good organisational, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, at all levels.
- Good technical knowledge of gas network operation, with a degree qualification in an appropriate discipline preferred.
- Knowledge/experience of industry codes, regulations, and legislation preferred.
- High level of computer literacy and project management skills.
- Full UK driving licence required for travel.
