About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team in the biomethane supply chain. As a key member of our process engineering team, you will be responsible for managing waste and recycling projects, preparing concept designs, and completing feasibility studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process designs for biomethane production and waste management projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical due diligence reports for funders.
  • Prepare technical and procurement documentation, including schematics and drawings.
  • Manage contracts and oversee plant construction projects.
  • Assist with on-site inspections, witnessing, and verification of construction, commissioning, and testing projects.
  • Develop relationships with clients, attend conferences, and write proposals to win new projects.
  • Collaborate with other teams within SLR on technical and process engineering aspects of diverse projects.

About You

We are looking for a degree-holding engineer with experience in managing projects in the waste and recycling or related fields. You will have excellent communication skills, be confident and friendly, and have knowledge and understanding of biomethane.

Essential qualifications include a degree in engineering, biochemistry, or a similar subject, experience in anaerobic digestion or related fields, and numerate and confident with data, basic modeling, and excellent report writing skills.

Desirable qualifications include a master's degree in a relevant subject, chartered engineer status, and experience working on site, health and safety, and CDM regulations.
