Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Engineer to join our team in the Energy Transition Department. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of safe and innovative design solutions for onshore facilities within Power-to-X technologies and industrial decarbonisation.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Process Safety Engineering and experience in executing Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRAs) and Fire- and Explosions Risk Assessments (FERAs) from the Energy sector. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating risk and safety studies, preparing safety documentation, and evaluating risk and risk-reducing measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and coordinating risk and safety studies for onshore facilities
  • Preparing safety documentation and reports
  • Evaluating risk and risk-reducing measures
  • Performing and leading quantitative risk assessments (QRAs) and fire- and explosions risk assessments (FERAs)
  • Providing process engineering support to Power-to-X and industrial decarbonisation projects

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Process/Chemical engineering
  • Relevant experience as Process or Process Safety Engineer from the Energy sector
  • Knowledge of legislation framework for major accident hazards
  • Experience with safety documentation and risk assessments
  • Excellent English skills
