About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Engineer Chemical to join our team at Ramboll. As a Process Safety Engineer Chemical, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe design and operation of chemical processes and facilities. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, process safety, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct hazard and operability studies (HAZOP) and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process safety solutions.
  • Develop and maintain process safety documentation, including safety procedures, operating instructions, and training materials.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance personnel on process safety matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process safety engineering, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, process safety, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
