Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Process Safety Engineer to join our Energy Transition Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating risk and safety studies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise in process safety engineering, quantitative risk assessments, and fire and explosion risk assessments will be essential in delivering safe and innovative design solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and coordinating risk and safety studies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Preparing safety documentation during engineering of projects
  • Leading safety workshops on projects, including HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA workshops
  • Evaluating risk and risk reducing measures according to the ALARP principle
  • Performing, leading, and coordinating work for quantitative risk assessments and fire and explosion risk assessments

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Process/Chemical engineering
  • Relevant experience as Process or Process Safety Engineer from the Energy sector
  • Experience with safety documentation during engineering of projects
  • Experience with performing, leading, and coordinating work for quantitative risk assessments and fire and explosion risk assessments
