Accounts Payable Supervisor

The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee and lead the Accounts Payable team to ensure the effective completion of all Accounts Payable work within procedural and audit guidelines, providing a high-quality service to the public and both internal and external customers.
The role involves managing the collection of external income for Procurement Services, ensuring appropriate controls are in place and regularly reviewed, monitoring income against targets set.
The Accounts Payable Manager will also be responsible for the efficient discharge of the daily pay run processes and liaising with the recovery audit to recover potential duplicate payments, unallocated credits, and VAT overpayments.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead the Accounts Payable team
- Manage the collection of external income for Procurement Services
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place and regularly reviewed
- Monitor income against targets set
- Efficiently discharge the daily pay run processes
- Liaise with the recovery audit to recover potential duplicate payments, unallocated credits, and VAT overpayments
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual who enjoys working as part of a flexible and dedicated team, with excellent analytical skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
The ideal candidate will possess experience of managing a team of staff and be able to provide a high-quality service to the public and both internal and external customers.
