Accounts Payable Supervisor

About the Role
The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee and lead the Accounts Payable team to ensure the effective completion of all Accounts Payable work within procedural and audit guidelines, ensuring the provision of a quality service to the public and both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the collection of external income for Procurement Services, ensuring appropriate controls are in place and regularly reviewed - monitoring income against targets set.
- Efficiently discharge the daily pay run processes and liaise with the recovery audit to recover potential duplicate payments, unallocated credits and VAT overpayments.
About the Team
The Accounts Payable Manager will be part of a flexible and dedicated team at Coventry City Council, working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality services.
