Job Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in English Language and Literature to students at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Maintain a well-organized and professional classroom environment, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve academic excellence and support student progress.
  • Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and monitor progress to inform teaching practices.
  • Comply with school policies and procedures, demonstrating a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have recent experience as an English Teacher at a secondary school level, with a strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 English Language curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom and behavior management skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning environments.
  • A relevant English-related degree is desirable, as is experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
