We are working with a secondary school in Suffolk to find an ambitious and innovative English Teacher to join their team. This school values creativity, innovation, and change, and is looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 level
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
  • Work effectively with other members of staff to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
  • Organise and maintain the classroom and associated resources

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
  • Recent mainstream school-based experience as an English Teacher at a secondary school level
  • Good level of classroom and behaviour management
  • Relevant English-related degree desirable
  • SEND experience desirable
