Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons for KS3 and KS4 English Language students
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor student achievement
  • Work effectively with colleagues to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
  • Comply with school policies and procedures, and contribute to the school's commitment to excellence
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
  • Recent mainstream school-based experience as an English Teacher at a secondary school level
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Relevant English-related degree or equivalent experience
  • Desirable: experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
