Key Responsibilities:- To work collaboratively with individuals supported and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their decisions are respected.
- Manage all aspects of running the home, including supervision of staff, rotas, care planning, quality assurance, training, budget management, finances, and medication management.
- Monitor activities and ensure quality of support and care aligns with our policy and sector regulatory standards.
- Create a culture of team development and teamwork, striving for best practices in individual support.
- Represent the organization professionally in all internal and external contacts and relationships.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Deputy Manager managing services working with individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, or associated complex needs.
- Relevant health or social care qualification (NVQ Level 5) or other professional qualifications, e.g., Nursing, OT, or social work.
- Up-to-date knowledge of best practice in managing challenging behavior using a positive behavior support approach.
- Willingness to work flexibly on a rota to meet service needs, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Ongoing paid-for training and development (industry-recognized qualifications)
