Job Title: Deputy Manager - Children's Nursery

Quinteducation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at our Children's Nursery. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in providing professional leadership and management to our staff team, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional leadership and management to the staff team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee all rooms and manage the staff team to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain positive working relationships with staff, parents, and carers.
  • Support staff in their roles through regular peer reviews, supervisions, and appraisals.
  • Assist the Manager in setting and implementing objectives for policies and procedures within the framework of the management committee.
  • Formulate, operate, and evaluate a yearly programme of activities that meets the needs of the children and follows the guidelines of the National Curriculum.
  • Liaise with the Local authority and other professionals associated with the nursery.
  • Assist and work alongside the nursery's Manager and undertake any responsibilities delegated by the Manager.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and regulatory requirements.
