Electrical Engineer for Submarine Systems

About the Job:
Rolls-Royce Submarines is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Barrow-in-Furness. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and commissioning electrical systems for submarines, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including shipbuilders and industry partners, to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, and experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and test electrical systems for submarines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and operational manuals
