About the Role:
Workplace Options is seeking an experienced Counsellor to join our UK team. As an EAP Counsellor, you will provide short-term counselling services to clients via phone, video, and email. You will work with clients presenting with a range of issues, including mental health symptoms, substance abuse, and relationship concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide single-session telephonic and video counselling, in-the-moment support, and crisis management in a supportive, ethical, and professional manner.
- Assess clients thoroughly to ensure appropriateness for short-term counselling.
- Assess and manage high-risk calls and work closely with individuals at risk.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Level 4 diploma in Counselling.
- Full Registration with or membership of a regulatory counselling body (BACP/BPS/UKCP/Other).
- Experience using short-term counselling modalities such as Solution-Focused, CBT, Mindfulness, Integrative, Systemic counselling.
- Culturally sensitive to clients and flexible in using a telephonic interpreter as needed.
- Competent in using various methods of contact – telephone, video, email, text, and live chat.
