Counsellor Wanted

WhereToTalk, a leading educational institution, seeks an experienced Counsellor to provide emotional support to our students.

We are offering a competitive salary of £29,484-£31,108 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, pro rata for this part-time role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing individual student needs and collaborating with tutors to develop targeted support plans.

The Counsellor will also act as a Safeguarding Officer, ensuring a high-quality service to students experiencing welfare and safeguarding issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accredited Counsellor qualification
  • Membership with BACP, UKCP, BABCP, or equivalent
  • Experience working with young people
  • Understanding of safeguarding practices

This is a term-time only position, working 21.6 hours per week. The actual salary is £14,521-£15,423 per annum.
